Antagonists made of Steatite ceramics

New from SD Mechatronik: Milled antagonists made of steatite-ceramics for our chewing simulator.

With a hardness of 520 HV10 and a flexural strenght of 127MPa the material is a suitable substitute for enamel.

We can produce user defined shapes-from scandata or anatomy model. Using a natural tooth shape as indenter, the clinical relevance of the chewing simulation can be increased.
